Theater
In 3rd grade, I volunteered for our town's
community theater. My sister was an actor, but
I was not. I chose to be involved by helping
with the lights.
The first couple years of shows I did, I
didn't do much besides press a button during
the show. However, I learned more about the
technology involved in a play as I grew up.
By middle school, I had my first job. I worked
for the same theater company, but I did light
and sound design as well as running the booth.
I brought this skill to high school as I
continued to work and volunteer for various
companies.
